Sunday the 17th was my 27th birthday!!! I love having a birthday on the weekend because it feels like the whole weekend belongs to you! Saturday I went shopping with my mom and Bryson (he is a very patient shopper in case you were wondering - nothing like his dad), and I of course had to spend some of my birthday money!
Later that night we went with Grandpa and Grandma Earp and Taylor and Drew to Bartlesville to eat at Montana Mike's and then we headed to the much discussed Kiddie Park! Bryson loved the carousel - I could only ride it once with him because it made me sick! I think he ended up riding it four times! Taylor and Drew kept fighting over who was going to ride the other rides with him - it was so funny! Drew said if he could not ride the ride with Bryson then he was not going to ride at all! Bryson got to meet Miss Callie Lewis there too! I could not have missed that red hair. I was standing in line for a ride, and I was watching this little baby that had to be Bryson's age on the swings by himself and he was sucking on the bar! So gross - and his mom was not doing anything about it (must have been her third child)! :) Anyways, I noticed this little red haired girl bobbing up and down and then I knew that was Miss Callie (sorry if I spelled your name wrong)! So, we got to visit with the Lewis' a little and the kids got to finally meet each other! We had a really good time - Thanks again Mike and Cheryl!
Then on the big official day I got up at 7:45 and still did not make it to church until 10:20! Bryson was so clingy, which I am not complaining because he is getting to where sometimes he is not as cuddly as he used to be so I love it when he wants me to cuddle with him! My dad, being the song leader of the church, decides it is his duty to embarrass me and tell the church it is my b-day and then of course adds in my age for good measure! After church we went to my mom's and had chicken parm and goulash (my favorite meal)! My dad and I are the only ones who really like it (Amy will eat it but it is not her fav), so I do not get it that often except on my b-day! Then Brian finally got off work and we headed into to Tulsa to run around in some shops (he is getting me an eliptical cause this momma has got to get into shape). We ate at Cheesecake Factory - so good! I do not like cheesecake, but I ordered the Factory Mud Pie (OMGosh to die for and another reason why I need the eliptical)! Bryson and I almost ate the whole thing (and he did not go to bed until 11 pm that night he was literally bouncing off the walls)! We ended the night watching some Olympics, which I have become obsessed with (we have totally got screwed in lady's gymnastics)! I had a wonderful birthday and thank you to everyone for all the gifts, food, phone calls, and b-day wishes! I am truly blessed.
