Bryson's 1st Play Date

We went to our friends Chris and Brandi Howell's for dinner last week and they have a 10 1/2 month old named Hunter. Brandi and I have been really good friends since high school. She used to drive me around everywhere. I was actually with her the first time she had a wreck. To her defense the roads were covered in snow, and this was back before Skiatook had all the money in the world to build a new huge U-MAC Center, and we had to drive to the Middle School for b-ball practice. Anyhow, I am so glad we have boys so close in age that met within a few hours of Bryson's birth. It will be a story to tell them when they are older. :)

Okay, so back to dinner. We had delicious chicken spaghetti which is Brian's favorite. We decided to do dinner at their house so we could actually play with the boys. Hunter is so cute. He is starting to walk, and he has the whole penguin walk going on! He is non-stop, I do not know how they keep up with him. Brandi would chase him while he was crawling and he would start going faster. It was so fun to watch him. Bryson just started sitting up, so he was a little boring for Hunter. But, you could tell Bryson wanted to keep up with him really bad. Hey, maybe a few more times together and Hunter will have Bryson crawling or walking in no time! :) I actually got him to sit still for the picture below.

Here Hunter is with the infamous spoon! We could not get them to sit together, so these are the best pictures I could get of the two of them. As you can tell Bryson is almost as big as Hunter. :)

It is so funny because Hunter has this thing with pacifiers and Brandi will set a bunch in front of him and he will pick one up and try it and then toss it to the side. And, he will continue this until he finds his favorite. Well, he noticed Bryson's pacifier and Hunter kept walking up to him and grabbing the pacifier from Bryson's mouth and tossing it to the side. Bryson would just look like what did he do that for. It was so funny to watch. I can't wait for Bryson to get a little older so he can keep up with Hunter. They will be so much fun to watch.

Here is Bryson after leaving. He was tuckered out! We had such a fun time. Brandi and Chris are such great parents and are raising an adorable little boy. When Bryson is recovered we will have to have them over to our house. I hope they like take-out!! :)
